With over a decade of experience in the disability sector and a strong background in behaviour support, youth work, and family-focused practice, Alex has a natural ability to build meaningful connections with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Alex's approach is honest, practical, and strengths-based, focusing on helping individuals achieve sustainable growth and positive outcomes. He has extensive experience supporting young people with complex behavioural, emotional, and developmental needs, as well as working closely with parents and caregivers to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop effective strategies for navigating everyday challenges.
He has particular expertise in behaviour support, including the development and implementation of positive behaviour support strategies and working within restrictive practice frameworks to promote safety, reduce risk, and enhance quality of life. Alex is passionate about supporting men's mental health and creating spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves, exploring challenges, and building the skills needed to thrive. Whether supporting a young person through school-related stress, assisting families to manage complex behaviours, or helping adults develop healthier routines and greater independence, Alex brings genuine care, practical tools, and a commitment to meaningful change.
